The publisher of the Golden Rule Magazine Pastor Taiwo Gbamila has confirmed and an award of excellence to Barrister Morayo Lebi who bags Ondo State outstanding sponsor of the progressive party of the decade.

Barrister Lebi, is a renowned lawyer who has committed to practice for over thirty years. based in Ikoyi Lagos State. An Akotogbo born indigene in Irele local government of Ondo State, had his education at Igbobi College Yaba and attended University of Lagos where he studied Law .
Apart from law practice, Barrister Lebi has also succeeded in business vocation as Real Estate Developer and properties Development among others.
Barrister Lebi was the architect of Modern progressive democracy in Ondo State Fellowing his financial commitment to develop progressive party in Ondo State, he was elected the Ondo South Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in 2015.
The award which was bestowed on him by the publisher of the above named magazine was done at the NUJ Press Centre in a grand style.

Pastor Taiwo Gbamila remarks

In a remark, the publisher of Golden Rule Magazine, Pastor Taiwo Gbamila said, “By my simple principle and philosophy, I don’t believe in money making award but prize giving award. I believe that when an award is given, must be given with prize but not to make money.

“I believe that it is better to be on the waiting list of God than to be on the wasting list of the devil. Therefore,  that is why this award is SPECIAL. It is special because is the first award I will give out since 2007 when I started Golden Rule Magazine publication.

“I started the first publication of Golden Rule Magazine 16 years ago as an undergraduate while in Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.

“Today, this excellence  award to Barr. Morayo Lebi (BML) as ‘Ondo State Outstanding Sponsor Of Progressive Party Of The Decade’ is a testament and proof of his philanthropic gestures to humanity.

“The award is in recognition of his outstanding contributions in bringing progressive party to lime light in Ondo State, particularly in Ondo South. Moreover, to motivate the awardee  (Morayo Lebi) to continue to make progress in his contribution to human capital development and progressive ideas. And also to appreciate him for his positive impact in progressive race.

“Overtimes, Barr. Morayo Lebi has demonstrated capacity and what leadership is about. He has shown to the people of Ondo State that leadership is not by tittle but mantle.”

The Awardee thanked the publisher for honouring him with that award. He asked the people to delivered themselves from the circle of poverty and oppressor in the state.
The programme with titled “Good and bad of system of rewarding political loyalist ” delivered by Prince Olayemi Olanitori, a lecturer in the higher Institution of higher learning. He said our forefathers empowered their people with education and that they made it so easy during their time for people to acquired it in those days because of their good intentions to ensure that everyone was educated at that time .
He explained that they invested in books and news paper publishing in order to finance the education of their people while those publishing houses are inturn financing their political parties then and they are rewarded for their services.
He said the money made from cocoa and selling of the paper in those days were used to buy books and distributed same for people free of charge for the purpose of given them everlasting education that would better their life.
He said our forefathers rewarded great people then and today those people are thanking our late leaders for great things they had done for them. He said Political parties leaders need to be rewarded for their good loyalist.


According to him, the speaker said government should create an enabling environment for people to strive. He advocated for the great development in our society.
He explained that infrastructural development and social amenities should be put in place at all levels particularly at the local government level.
