The NOA Director of Ondo State Directorate, Mrs Adelayo Adefolalu has called on the Residents of the State to actively participate in this month Environmental Sanitation Exercise slated for Saturday 27th January 2024, between 7AM and 10AM with full restrictions of both human and vehicular movement.

The State Director of Ondo NOA made the call on Friday through a press release issued by the Agency PRO, Mr Ralph Oguntibeju urging all residents of the State to ensure their surroundings and environment are well clean ,clear and tidy up in order to keep the State clean and free from all forms of unhygienic condition.

Mrs Adefolalu expressed gratitude to the Ondo State govt in it’s efforts to remain in line with the plan of the Federal govt initiative to ensure everyone has access to clean water and stays healthy by 2030.

She admonished residents to come out en-masse to clean all nooks and crannies of the State and keep to the regulation of the exercise. She cautioned those in habit of violating the extant rules to desist as anybody caught during the exercise will face wrath of the law.

The NOA boss also called on all relevant stakeholders and local government officials of the Agency to closely monitor the exercise in their various local government areas and give the report to appropriate authority.
