Speaking with party supporters at the Methodist primary school Fajuyi park, Owo, where some PDP members decamped to APC, the governor urged them to come out in large number on Saturday to support him.

The governor further cleared the insinuation that he abandoned ongoing projects in Owo the home town of the former governor, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, stressing that he had instructed all contractors back to site.

Earlier, at the palace of Olubaka of Oka in Akoko south west local government, where he met with monarchs led by the Olubaka, Oba Yusuf Adebori-Adeleye, governor Aiyedatiwa promised to revisit all tourist sites scattered across the state to boost the economy.

The governor also met with party members in Ifon and some monarchs in Ose local government at their secretariat where he solicited for their support.

Long list of party loyalist and dignitaries who accompanied the governor on his sixth day of campaign are deputy governor, Dr Olayide Adelami; Speaker, Ondo state house of assembly Mr Olamide Oladiji; Majority leader of the house, Oluwole Ogunmolasuyi and deputy chairman APC elders caucus, Chief Jamiu Ekungba among others.
