I AM A SURVIVOR—-Pst E.A. Adeboye
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, in his new year message and thanksgiving service has said that we should let our neighbors know that we are a survivor by thanking God Almighty for sparing our lives in the year 2022 . He said this when he was giving his sermons for the year.
The man of God said that we should celebrate ourselves even if nobody celebrate us. That we escaped the COVID-19, and the kidnappers den as well as others violence incidents of the year 2022, that all these happening are great enough reasons for us to say thank you Lord.
When speaking further, he said that you don’t have to be rich to celebrate. He said we can go out with our families to celebrate because God had conquered our enemies that want to prevent us from seen the new year.
That God has made us great and we are what we are today by HIS grace. While quoting from the book of Psalm 18vs 35, that the gentleness of God has made us great. Therefore, there is need for us to be praising HIM all the time.
In another development, the pastor said that for the fact that we are still reasoning with our memories, it’s enough for us to thank God . In his words” When you praise God , miracle will happen and yokes will be destroyed” he said God has been good to us , so, what can will render? If not thanks. He said that we could keep on surviving if we know how to say thank you God.
Pastor E. A. Adeboye, who said that this year is going to be a year of WONDER .That the wonder could be of two types, the good and the bad one. According to him if an old woman who is above sixty years of age can give birth , we should know that this is a wonder while on the other hand a king who turned to an Animal is another wonder . He asked a question that which one do you want between these two wonders? and thereafter, he made an alter call for those who want to give their lives to Jesus Christ.
