In this sixth (6th) plenary section of Develop Ondo 2.0 investment, the Panels discussed topic on Port Ondo As Golden Opportunity To Developing Possibilities InManufacturing/Economic Zones/ Logistics Base. The Panels used the opportunity to call on the Investors to come and invest in Ondo State since the State have already have a Port that has been approved by the Federal Government.
According to them, all infrastructural facilities had be in place like Security, Hospitality, Transportation and other activities that would make the Oil and Gas Trade Zones to flourish in the state. The representative of the Managing Director of the MCDMB, Mr Silas Ajimijaye Omomehin, who is an indigene of Ilaje, Ondo State said it’s an opportunity for all to have this kind of Port as this is going to give the state a huge opportunity in the creation of Jobs in various sectors for the people of the State and it’s environs.

They also advocated that the PPP partnership that are well vibrant in terms of finance in order to develop the Port that would generate wealth for the State and the People. They advised the government to prepare their project to be Bankable by the investors because these people follow where the money is.
Hon. Niyi Oseni, Special Adviser to Mr Governor on Environment talked about the impact of the busy road and other pollution that would generate from the project which would be reduced as soon as the time comes. He said that we need to plan for the sustainability of our society when the time comes.

Adamu Mamma Kotangora– Director Trade and Investment oil and Gas free trade Zones Authority said a lot would be done in this regard and the people of the state would benefit a lot from the free trade Zones.
