UNIMED: Ondo State Former Gov.Mimiko Completes first semester of the Master’s programme in Health Law and Policy

One of the events happening in the state was that former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko and others have just completed of the first semester’s programme in Health Law and policy from the Ondo State University of Medical Science- UNIMED in Ondo town. According to the reports gathered DR Olusegun Mimiko were seen in a group picture with others great students that valued education even at their matured age just to better their life were seen rejoicing for finishing their first semester examination.

Also, the university has signed a Memorandum of understanding (Mou)with the West African College of Physicians (WACP) on June 13, 2024.The purpose of the MoU was to further unity and development of the university staff capacity building, research and improve the students of the university in various disciplines among the undergraduate to make them compete with the best global practices.

In another development, the Independent National Electoral Commission -INEC has announced the registration of the voters in the state continue.According to the reports “The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the commencement of the Continuous Voters Registration Exercise in Ondo State, which ran from May 27, 2024 to June 9, 2024″. This is an opportunity for those who have not registered to go and registered in order for them to participate in the forth coming of the gubanatoria election in the November 16th ,2024.

Lastly, this year ,the Metrological Agency in the country has predicted thunder storms in the this Month of June . The reports gathered that” The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) predicted thunderstorms and rain in Ondo State from June 23 to June 25, 2024″
