Yesterday, marking the world malaria day at the Comprehensive Health Center Arakale, The NDDC Executive Director of Corporate Services, Hon Ifedayo Abegunde aka ABENA warned the populace of the impending dangers in untreated Malaria attacks.

In a meeting sponsored by The NDDC boss, he stated clearly in his words “Malaria kills more than HIV AIDS”.

In that same program attended by Mr Governor Loyalists- Hon Commissioner for Youth and Sport- Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye and The Hon.Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon Olaniyi Gbenga , proper health education was ditched out for the residents in Akure and nursing mothers as ABENA also distributed treated mosquito nets to the nursing mothers.
In a malaria presentation speech led by Dr Mrs Adekannbi Adedoyin, she advised people to keep an environment free of bushes, keep well drained gutter, stop handling malaria with levity, avoid self medication, but use malaria nets.She advised that the active chemical on the net is not inimical to human health.
