– Aiyedatiwa is the best for Ondo State; PDP has nothing to offer, say Oke, Makinde, Adetimehin

The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Wednesday concluded the third leg of the senatorial flag-off of his campaign in Ondo South with a rally held at Ore, headquarters of Odigbo Local Government Area, with a strong promise of continued development for the people of the State.

Addressing a large crowd of supporters that thronged the venue of the rally, Governor Aiyedatiwa assured that more impactful projects would be delivered when he’s elected, stating that the achievements of his administration so far are just the beginning.

The Governor said, “You haven’t seen anything yet, there are more developmental projects coming, and I am committed to transforming every part of this state.”

Governor Aiyedatiwa highlighted the strong unity within the APC, stating, “The APC remains a united, indivisible family, and every leader in our party is focused on a single goal which is our victory on November 16.”

He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people for their overwhelming support, attributing it to the tangible development his administration has brought to Ondo State in a short period of time.

The Governor called on the people to turn their support into action during the coming election. “On November 16, I urge you to translate your support into votes for the APC, so we can keep moving Ondo State forward”, he added.

In his remarks, a former gubernatorial aspirant and prominent APC leader, Chief Olusola Oke, expressed confidence in the party’s stronghold in the southern district ahead of the election.

“The South belongs to the APC, the people here know the governor’s track record, and they stand firmly with him. We will deliver victory for Governor Aiyedatiwa”, Oke said.

The Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, also reinforced the message of progress, urging the people to continue supporting Aiyedatiwa’s administration, which he described as focused on the welfare of the people of the State.

He emphasized that the governor’s leadership has brought unprecedented growth to the region, and more could be achieved with a full term in office.

Hon. Abiola Makinde, the Director-General of the Aiyedatiwa Campaign, called on members of the APC to remain united and resist any distractions during the campaign.

“This election is about progress, and we cannot afford to lose focus. Governor Aiyedatiwa has proven his capacity to lead, and with your support, we will secure victory on November 16″, Makinde said.

Speaking on behalf of the party, APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, assured the governor that the party is well-prepared to win in all the 18 local government areas of the State.

The local government leg of the APC gubernatorial campaign starts on Friday in Akure South Local Government.
