In a landmark move under the Renewed Hope Initiative, the Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the complete elimination of tuition and other school fees across all 33 Federal Science and Technical Colleges (FSTCs) for the 2025–2026 academic session.

Starting August 2025, enrollees in these institutions will enjoy an unprecedented package of benefits: free tuition, free meals, free accommodation, monthly stipends, and a guaranteed pathway to employment or entrepreneurship after graduation. This initiative aims to revolutionize Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) nationwide.

A New Era for Technical Education
The TVET program is designed to equip students with practical, industry-relevant skills in high-demand sectors such as construction, engineering, hospitality, and healthcare. Graduates will receive dual certification: the National Technical Certificate and the National Skills Qualification Certification (NSQ) — both recognized internationally.

Key Benefits for Enrolled Students:

Free tuition for the entire 3-year program

Free meals and accommodation throughout the training period

Monthly stipends for student upkeep

Access to federal grants or loans to start a business after graduation

National and international certification for employment or self-employment opportunities

Registration Details:
Interested candidates can register at any of the 33 FSTCs nationwide.

Registration fee: ₦4,200 only

Deadline for registration: Thursday, 12th June 2025

Entrance examination date: Saturday, 14th June 2025, at 9:00 AM at selected FSTCs

Note: No late registration will be accepted

This initiative reflects the federal government’s commitment to expanding access to quality technical education, reducing youth unemployment, and fostering a generation of job-ready, self-reliant graduates.
