Adeboye Declares: The King of Kings Will Lift You Up

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, on sunday delivered a powerful sermon titled “King of Kings” in which he urged believers to fully surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, describing Him as the One who “controls kings, kingdoms, and even nature itself.”
Drawing from Revelation 19:11-16, Pastor Adeboye painted a vivid picture of Christ as the “Faithful and True” rider on the white horse, whose name is “King of Kings and Lord of Lords.” He explained that while earthly kings and rulers operate within limited domains, Jesus Christ reigns supreme over all.
“In the kingdom of animals, the lion is king. In the kingdom of the sea, the whale rules. In the sky, it’s the eagle,” Adeboye said. “But there is Someone who controls the lion, the whale, and the eagle – the King of Kings. He can command lions not to harm His children, and He can send a whale to protect rather than destroy.”
Using real-life testimonies from his ministry, including the registration of RCCG in Israel and miraculous land acquisition in Kenya, Adeboye emphasized that God can open doors even where governments or policies have said “no.” “I decree in the name above every other name,” he declared, “where they say there is no way for you, the King of Kings will make a way.”
The revered cleric also encouraged political leaders and ordinary believers alike to trust God for promotion and success beyond human limitations. “If it is human beings promoting you, sooner or later they will bring you down. But when God is the One lifting you, His hands are everlasting – He will keep lifting you higher,” he said.
Concluding his message, Adeboye invited listeners to total surrender: “If you belong to the King of Kings, you become a king yourself. But you must submit fully to His authority and obey Him completely.”
