The Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) has celebrated Children’s Day 2026 with a renewed commitment to supporting the education, wellbeing, and future of children across the oil-producing communities in Ondo State.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff of the Commission, the Executive Chairman of OSOPADEC, Prince Olabiyi Olaleye Poroye, described children as the hope and promise of a better tomorrow.
He emphasized the importance of continuous investment in child development, noting that education, discipline, hard work, and determination remain key ingredients for raising responsible future leaders.
According to the Chairman, OSOPADEC remains dedicated to programmes and initiatives that promote the growth and overall development of children within its mandate areas.
He also encouraged children to believe in their dreams and strive for excellence despite challenges.
The Commission extended warm wishes to children on the occasion of Children’s Day 2026 and reiterated its commitment to sustainable development and prosperity in the region.
