FGC Idoani Alumni Celebrate 2025 Valedictory Service, Urge Graduands to Uphold School Legacy

The 2025 Valedictory Service of the Federal Government College (FGC), Idoani, was a moment of pride and reflection as members of the FGC Idoani Alumni Association joined graduating students, parents, and staff to mark the occasion in grand style.
Held on Saturday, July 26, in the school’s main hall, the event was attended by a high-powered delegation of alumni led by the Akure Mega Chapter, Comrade Dr. Gideon Olusola Bakare, who represented the Global President of the association, Mr Alex Akindumila.
The school’s Principal, Mrs. Adeola Adeaga, and the Chairman of the Occasion, Engr. Akin Omotola—also an alumnus—delivered goodwill messages, charging the graduating class to be worthy ambassadors of the institution and to uphold the values of discipline, excellence, and service.
In a show of encouragement and reward for excellence, outstanding students received awards and cash prizes. One of the major highlights was the official induction of the graduating students into the Alumni Association performed by Mr. Alex Akindumila who was represented by Dr Gideon Olusola Bakare who invited all Alumni members present to join him on the stage
He also invited the TACAMS Chairman, Mr Bode Abodunde to address the Graduands before the induction.
The event concluded with a thanksgiving session by the students, symbolizing gratitude for their academic journey. It also underscored the enduring relationship between the school and its alumni, whose presence and support continue to uplift
