The Ondo State Chairman of NURTW Comrade Ambassador Odudu Emmanuel Ademola has debunked in a strong term the false allegations that he led some thugs to disrupt the APC stakeholders meeting at the State Party Secretariat in Akure yesterday 17th February 2026.
Comrade Odudu who described the claim as completely misleading and total falsehood, stated that he arrived at the venue of the meeting as one of the party stakeholders in the state and discovered that some aspirants’ supporters were having heated arguments amongst them, as the whole issue is a party affairs and not an NURTW matter. He further stated that no officer nor member of NURTW was involved in the fracas.
He further explained that being a peace-loving person, he was trying to broker peace at the venue before the arrival of the Ondo State Commissioner of Police and his team as well as men from Ondo State Command of the NSCDC, and men of the DSS as well as other security agent who brought the situation under control.
The NURTW boss who strongly condemned the attack on the state chairman of APC, Engr. Ade Adetimehin and others describe it as an act unacceptable in its entirety.
He advised that sensitive information of this magnitude should be well investigated before being circulated to avoid misleading the public.
