OAUSTECH to Host Distinguished Public Lecture on Climate Change and Food Security in Africa 

The Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa, Ondo State, has announced plans to hold its 3rd Distinguished Public Lecture, focusing on the pressing issue of climate change and its implications for food security across Africa.
According to a statement issued by the university, the event is being organized under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Temi E. Ologunorisa, on behalf of the institution’s Council, Senate, and Congregation.
The lecture, titled “Climate Change and Food Security in Africa,” will be delivered by Rev’d Prof. Edwin J. J. Momoh, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Ernest Bai Koroma University of Science and Technology.


The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the University Auditorium of OAUSTECH, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Guests are expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
University authorities noted that the lecture will provide a platform for intellectual discourse on the challenges posed by climate change and the strategies required to ensure sustainable food production and security in Africa.
