Why I Dissolves My Cabinet ?-Aiyedatiwa

Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa today sworn in his Deputy Hon Olayide Adelami . The event which took place at the International  Cultural and Events Centre -(The Dome) was filled to it’s capacity.

The swearing in was performed by the Chief Judge of Ondo State, Justice Olusegun Odunsola .
The Deputy Governor Adelami took oath of an office and promised that his personal interest would not override his official conduct. He later signed the official register to that effect for gazetting ..

The Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa recognised all the dignitaries around during the events. He said some of the commissioners are coming back as some people have served well and some may not returned while some are still on the awaiting list to serve in his government.

A one minute silence was observed for the late governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN CON in order to honoured him .
Similarly, the governor said we are here for the swearing in of his Deputy Dr. Adelami. He explained that the people of Ondo State has stated enjoying the presence of this government as the salaries of the workers are being paid as when due as well as the payment of the gratuity and pension to the Pensioners.
He used the occasion to itemized the good work done by his administration to the people of Ondo State within the few months he assumed office.

He said the new Deputy Governor Adelami should handle his portfolio very well because this was a critical time to the state as they would be going into the election year. He advised him to serve with Integrity, loyalty and commitment during his administration.

He however congratulated him as he believed that he would served with all commitment. He asked him to avoid discrimination during his services. He asked him to avoid corruption as the new administration had no tolerance for corruption.

He extended his courtesy to all the state judiciary for holding the tenant of the rule of laws and urge then to keep on flying the flag of the justice higher. He also thanked the party as the vehicle that brought the government into place.
While explaining, he said the reasons why he dissolved his cabinet was because of the hue and crying from the public as the pressure was causing distraction to his government hence he had to took action to that effect in order to rejuvenate his cabinet.

In his response,the Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami recognised all the dignitaries present during his inaugurations. He said it’s Almighty God that arranges the life of human and give position to whom HE desires. He thanked the governor appointing him to serve in that capacity and he said he accepted to be his Deputy and promised that his loyalty would be 100% and not 99% .

He said because of the Assurance of Mr Governor, the contractors had back to site for work as his boss promised that he would not abandoned the infrastructural development embarked upon by the former Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu-SAN.

He said he would made available his wealth of experience to develop the Ondo State. He said good things are awaiting the different groups in Ondo State during this government.
