You Are My Pillar Of Support-Asonja’s Son

A heir to Pastor Asonja Festus, the newly sworn in permanent Secretary in Ondo State, George Asonja, who is the Director of Protocol to Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa had said that to begin to talk about his Daddy, he would weep out a lot of emotions . He explained that the best way to summarised his thoughts about his Daddy was that he had been a solid pillar of support to him and his siblings.
He said he was what he his today by the grace of God do to human efforts and the enablement of his father. And he said the support he gave to him was the same he replicated to other five children as they were six children in number .
The Director of Protocol described his father as a man of emerse humility in outlook and a great achiever as well as an affid believer in God in ethics and ethos of Christianity . He said his father had devoted his life in pursuing the course of christian faith of which he believed that he had passed it to them and he and his siblings would extend the same faith to their generations.
Speaking further, George Asonja said he was particularly elated about the event because the elevation came at a time when humanly speaking it was impossible but like man of God he is ,that there is nothing God can not do . God has truly proven this in his life that what HE can not do doesn’t exist .He therefore, dedicated the celebration to the God Almighty and their Daddy’s long service to humanity and to the kingdom of God in general.
His Mother, Mrs Asonja, who is the wife of the celebrant also thanked God for making the day a reality. She also expressed her gratitude to HE lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for appointing her husband as one of the permanent Secretaries in the state.She prayed that God would answer the immediate desires of Mr Governor speedily . She thanked all the people of the Ondo State that graced the occasion both the elderly one and the younger one.
