– As Gov promises better infrastructure for riverine communities

In continuation of his campaign tour of the State ahead of the November 16 governorship election, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, toured several communities in Ese Odo Local Government on Tuesday, interacting with traditional rulers, religious leaders, and residents.

Aside receiving overwhelming reception from residents, the Governor also got the endorsement of the traditional rulers in the local government.

At Bolowo, His Royal Highness, the Anananawe of Bolowou, (Pere) Judge Ugulapelewei Jemine, warmly welcomed Governor Aiyedatiwa, expressing gratitude for the governor’s dedication to development across Ondo State.

He remarked, “We are not surprised by the infrastructural progress we see today because we saw it coming. Your administration has always shown a clear commitment to the people, and we are pleased to see those promises materialize.

“We appreciate the appointments of our sons and daughters into political offices. This shows you recognize the value and capabilities within our communities. It makes us proud and strengthens our trust in your leadership.”

He, however, pointed out some pressing needs that require the government’s urgent attention, emphasizing the importance of education and healthcare in their region.

“We offer you our blessings for a victorious outcome in the coming election. Be assured that the people of Bolowo stand firmly with you. You have our total support, and come November 16, our votes will be yours”, the monarch said.

The Governor later visited His Grace, Rt. Rev. Princewill Epistle Jemine (JP), the Miyenkirigbolomowei II and General Overseer of Zion Mission, praising the religious leader for sustaining the church since the passing of his father, the former overseer, and for promoting peace in the community.

In his remarks, Rev. Jemine promised the governor continuous prayers from the Zion Mission ahead of the November 16 election.

Also, during the event, High Chief Bibopere Ajube, a prominent son of Ese Odo local government, urged residents to rally behind Governor Aiyedatiwa. He implored everyone to support and vote for the Governor.

The campaign tour extended with a visit to Arogbo Kingdom, where Governor Aiyedatiwa received blessings from His Imperial Majesty, Pere Z.D. Egbunu Esq (JP), Opukutuk III, the Agadagba of Arogbo Kingdom.

The governor’s campaign trail also took him to Kiribo, where he was warmly received by an enthusiastic crowd of supporters.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, emphasizing the importance of the coming election. He urged them to remain steadfast in their commitment to the progress his administration has initiated.

Similarly, at Igbotu, Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed his deep appreciation for the unwavering support from the communities and promised to reciprocate their trust with impactful projects and policies.

At Igbobini, where he met a mammoth crowd, the Governor promsied that his administration would continue to initiate more developmental projects across the state if elected to retain power.

He solicited the support of the people, urging them to troop out en-masse by ensuring they exercise their franchise without fear, asking his supporters not to relent in their house-to-house campaign for his victory in the election.

He said: “I want to thank you for your patience, as we gathered here today. I salute your love, unity, and support for us and the party. I’ll reciprocate this gesture after the election.

“No doubt, we have initiated many projects, and we will do more. Our roads, schools, and hospitals are receiving attention. We have also ensured there is security in the state.

“We are also employing more teachers in the school. So, come November 16, you must troop out en mass and vote for our party (APC) in the election.”

At each of the stops, the Governor responded with a consistent message of reassurance. He emphasized his administration’s commitment to the needs of every community.

Throughout the campaign tour, Governor Aiyedatiwa received blessings from monarchs, religious leaders, and enthusiastic supporters, as well as defectors from other parties pledging their allegiance to the APC.
