Birthday: Afenifere Celebrates Ooni @ 51

The leadership of the Yorùbá socio political-cultural organization, Afenifere, has felicitated with His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife, who has attained the remarkable age of 51.
In a statement released by the Secretary General of the group, Chief Sola Ebiseni, and made available to the press, part of the message read:
“This celebration is not just for a king; it is for the symbol of our race and national identity.”
The people rejoiced with the Ooni for upholding the symbol of authority of the ancestral kingdom and preserving Yorùbá traditions for the peace and unity of the people and the land.
They also wished him long life and prosperity as he continues to promote the culture and heritage of the Yorùbá race beyond the shores of Africa.
